This is a Cape wide ministry serving the Homeless on Cape Cod by providing shelter for an evening at local churches. OBC has been participating in this ministry since December 2003. We provide shelter every other Saturday night for an average of 5-6 homeless women. There are several opportunities to help with this ministry.
We need overnight chaperones and drivers to transport guests from the Salvation Army office in Hyannis to the church and back again. We also need volunteers to assist in providing snacks or breakfast, helpers to launder sheets for the next overnight or just being a friendly face.
