LOCAL OUTREACH
NOAH SHELTER
OBC is committed to provide and serve the evening meal on the
4th Saturday of each month at the NOAH Shelter in Hyannis. NOAH
is a 50-bed emergency shelter for homeless men and women. (more)
CAPTAIN ELDRIDGE HOUSE
Capt Eldridge House is located at 30 Pine Ave, Hyannis. There
are 18 small apartments serving the needs of elders and younger
disabled individuals. (more)
LOCAL FOOD PANTRY
OBC continues to be involved in supporting local
food pantries by delivering supplies to these pantries. Interested
people can donate non-perishable food items to the donation basket
in the entryway to the church.
SHORT TERM MISSION TRIPS
HAITI TRIP
The 2011 earthquake
at Haiti's capital was devastating in loss of over 300,000 lives,
and many displaced people and orphans are still mending their lives.
Haitien pastor Joseph Saintill at the New Jerusalem Baptist Mission
--church and school-- is located in the second-most populated city
of Haiti, Cap-haitien.
A trip
in January 2012 ministered to some physcial needs at the
Baptist Mission school and their satellite church. People interested
in financially supporting the New Jerusalem Baptist Mission should

TOGO TRIP
Plans are still in their infancy
toward going to Togo, West Africa to join with JJ and Melissa Alderman
in their Togo Palms Ministry. Interested people should email
MOLDOVA
OUTREACH/ SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
OBC supports a Summer Camp in Invancea, Moldova. If you would
like to help out this summer by working in our summer camps program
let us know. We are also looking for any who would like to participate
by praying or giving. (more)
SUPPORTED MISSIONARIES
Osterville Baptist Church is involved in Missions around the
world and we assist in supporting and promoting individual missionaries
and mission agencies alike in spreading the "Good News" of
the gospel of Jesus Christ. (more) |
