MOLDOVA SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM

The camp is in the village of Ivancea, Moldova, about 50 miles North of Chisinau. The site is an old Communist Youth camp, now owned and maintained by the State of Moldova.

This year our camp is scheduled for July 4-9, and we expect there to be about 250 teens and younger   to attend with a staff of 25 young adults, members of Isus Salvatorul Biserica, Chisinau, Moldova. Isus Salvatorul Biserica is the largest Evangelical/Baptist church in Moldova. OBC is funding the camp, as it has for the last 7 years. Without OBC's help a Teen camp will not happen.

Most children that attend are very needy kids from the Chisinau area and several from numerous Orphanages in Moldova. Most children that attend have no concept of church, Christianity or Jesus. Daily, children are brought the message of Jesus in many ways. At the end of the week a call to Christ is extended to everyone and usually over 2/3 of the camp accept Him as their Savior. Praise God!
