Thrive Group Connections
Living the Christian life every
day is not only hard, but impossible – impossible without the Holy
Spirit and impossible without the support of a small group of friends.
As the bumps and wrong turns come around, it is important to have others
close by to hold us up and to shed light on the situation. The 'world'
can be a place of rejection and discouragement, but God is present and
we often need people around us to remind us that we are God's divine choice.
God takes great pleasure in our relationship with Him; I think he takes
great pleasure in our meaningful relationships we have with other believers.
Consider joining a small group community called a THRIVE group. A THRIVE group studies and discusses scripture together, prays together, laughs and cries together, serves God together, sees God in each other, and walks (and runs) along together. As we learn to live out our faith every day, we are on our way to becoming more like Jesus and on our way to spending eternity in the presence of God. Don't go it alone. Pamela Brown, |
