Karla Lorig, Director of Children's Ministries

Karla’s role at OBC is to design, implement and oversee our ministry programs to children, ranging from toddlers through 6th grade, ensuring that they provide an opportunity for our kids to grow in their relationship with Christ. These programs include Sunday School, WAVE Worship, AWANA, Vacation Bible School and Village Day.

I
n 2001, she was blessed and excited to be able to join together her passions for Christ, kids, and teaching to serve the children of our Cape Cod community as she joined the Osterville Baptist team. Seeing kids excited about living for Jesus is a goal of our Children’s Ministry.

Coming to us with a background in education, Karla is a graduate of The King’s College and Southern Connecticut State University. She holds a teaching degree, specializing in Special Education and has taught for many years in both private and public schools.

Karla is married to Chip and is a mom to two boys: Justin and Cole. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on her boys at their sporting events, biking, going to the beach, cooking, music and the Red Sox.
