OVERNIGHTS
OF HOSPITALITY
This is a program in which we host homeless
women at the church two Saturday nights per month, giving them
a safe bed and some meals. The time commitment is minimal,
but the impact is profound. To continue this ministry at OBC,
we need one or two coordinators for the program, and some women
willing to spend a few nights a year at the church with these
guests. If you feel God is leading you to serve in this way,
please contact Ann Grant (agrant@ostervillebaptist.org or 508-428-2787),
or Kim Everson (jkeverson@comcast.net or 508-428-9231) as soon
as possible.
A WOMAN’S CONCERN

that offers life-affirming services to women and couples facing
unexpected pregnancies. There is no cost for these services.
They have an office in Hyannis. AWC is conducting a fundraising
event at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 21st, A Light in the
Darkness, at the Cape Codder Resort, Hyannis. The evening will
feature an hors d’oeuvres buffet with carving and dessert
stations, and a raffle. Guest speaker will be Boston College
alumna Danielle Huntley of Students for Life of America. Tickets
are $50. Please contact Barbara Bowers at 508-385-7867.

CALLING ALL MEN!
You will be blessed by attending
Men’s
Life on Saturday mornings at 7:00 o’clock
in Room 101 at OBC. We have a great time talking, studying
God’s Word, and even going out on a few “rabbit
trails.” The fellowship is great and always benefits
those that take the “first” hour of their Saturdays
to honor God. Give it a try, men, and you’ll like it.
PANERA BREAD
Bread is picked up Sunday nights,
then delivered to the OBC kitchen counter, wrapped and ready
for you the next morning! If you know anyone outside our church
that would be blessed by this provision, just let us know and
we’ll
gladly have a bag ready for them! If you are interested in
benefitting from this abundant blessing, please contact the
church office.
