Rev. David Cook, Associate Pastor for Worship and Arts

Dave’s role at OBC is to oversee all of our church’s music and serve as a Pastor in the areas of teaching, leadership, pastoral care and discipleship. His great passion is to hear churches, families, and individuals sing praises to God through Jesus Christ and see them live the changed lives only God can bring about.

Osterville Baptist Church is a place Dave love’s to call home, and a body he loves to work for. Our vision appeals to his heart because we seek not just to fill our sanctuary with singers, but to fill our church body with worshippers of God. God loves to hear his praises sung, but he loves even more to create true worshippers who offer their lives to Him through Jesus Christ. Osterville Baptist Church seeks to be His vehicle for that work, and Dave feels the privilege of being a part of it.

Dave holds a B.A. in Graphic Design from Flagler College with minors in Advertising and Fine Arts and an M.A in Worship from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with additional coursework in counseling and family ethics.

Dave is married to Emily and they have a little daughter named Sarah. In his free time, he loves to play with Sarah, watch College Football and explore the Cape with Emily, pursue photography, and engage in any sort of hobby where he gets to make stuff.
