AWANA

AWANA meets Fridays at 6:00 pm. If you, or someone you know, might be interested in bringing their children (ages 3 through Grade 6), or have questions, call the church office at 508-428-2787.

OBC has a growing AWANA program that runs from September to May. Kids have fun while they are learning and growing!

AWANA is one of the nation’s fastest growing youth organizations. The purpose of the club is to encourage young people in social interaction, physical activities, Bible study and memorization.

AWANA is an acronym for “Approved Workman Are Not
Ashamed”, based on 2 Timothy 2:15.

AWANA is made up of three main age groups:
Cubbies: Ages 3 – Pre-K
Sparks: Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade
Truth and Training Clubs: Grade 3 – Grade 6

Each club meeting consists of:

Game Time: active games played around the AWANA game circle
Memory Verse Time:
small group time to work on Bible verse memorization/recitation
Bible Lesson Time: Bible lesson and activities

AWANA meets Friday nights from 6:00pm-7:45pm
(September – May)
.
